These Terms of Service govern your use of the website operated by GUTTERBUZZ, LLC and the roofline rainwater services we provide. Please read them carefully. By using the website or engaging our crews, you agree to the terms described here.
Our registered entity is GUTTERBUZZ, LLC, located at 12656 S 900 E, Draper - 84020-9794, United States (US). You may reach us by email at help@gutterbuzz.buzz or by telephone at +18788344446 with any question about these terms.
We have written these terms in plain language and we use no quotation marks anywhere in the text. Where a term has a specific meaning in this agreement, we explain it in the section where it appears so that any reader can follow along without legal training.
By accessing this website, submitting a request, or accepting a written scope of work from GUTTERBUZZ, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website and contact us by telephone so that we can discuss your needs directly.
These terms apply alongside any written proposal, work order or service agreement that we provide for a specific project. Where a signed project document conflicts with these terms, the signed document controls for that project, and these terms continue to govern your general use of the website.
You represent that you have the authority to accept these terms, either for yourself or on behalf of the property or business you represent. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to this agreement.
In these terms, the words we, us and our refer to GUTTERBUZZ, LLC. The words you and your refer to the person or organization using the website or engaging our services. The word site refers to the website operated under the name GUTTERBUZZ, LLC.
The word services means the roofline rainwater work we perform, including seamless gutter installation, gutter guard systems, seasonal cleaning crews, downpipe repair and rerouting, roofline inspection reports and ice dam prevention. The word content means all text, images, layout and other material on the site.
The word property means the building and land where services are performed. The word scope means the specific written description of work that we provide and you accept for a project. The word report means a condition note or inspection document we deliver to you.
The website and services are intended for adults who own, manage or maintain property. By using the site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
If you use the site on behalf of a property owner who is not you, you confirm that you have permission to act for that owner and to authorize work. We may ask for written confirmation of authority before beginning a project, particularly where the requester is a tenant, manager or agent.
We may decline to provide services for any lawful reason, including where a site presents conditions that fall outside the scope of our crews or where we cannot reach a safe working arrangement with the property owner.
We grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable permission to view the site and to use its contact features for the purpose of learning about our services and requesting work. You may print or save a reasonable number of pages for your own reference.
You may not copy, republish, sell, rent, sublicense or distribute any part of the site without our prior written consent. You may not frame the site within another website, mirror its content, or remove any notice of ownership that appears on a page.
You may not use automated tools to scrape, index or harvest content or contact details from the site, except as permitted by law or by a standard search engine acting under ordinary operating rules. We reserve the right to restrict access where we detect abusive automated activity.
GUTTERBUZZ, LLC provides roofline rainwater services for residential and light commercial properties. Each project begins with a survey and a written scope that describes the channel, guards, hangers, downpipes, discharge points and freeze protection we plan to install or maintain.
Our services are limited to the roofline drainage system and related rainwater management. We do not perform roofing replacement, structural repair, electrical work beyond low voltage heat cable, plumbing inside the building envelope or landscaping. Where a project requires work outside our scope, we will say so and may recommend a qualified specialist.
Any change to an approved scope must be requested in writing and accepted by both parties before the change is performed. Changes may affect price, schedule and the materials used, and we will provide an updated written scope for your approval before proceeding.
A quote is a written offer to perform a described scope at a stated price and remains open for the period noted on the document. A quote may depend on the accuracy of information gathered during a survey, and it may change if site conditions differ materially from what we observed.
An estimate is an approximate figure provided for planning and does not bind either party until a written scope is accepted. Estimates may change because of hidden conditions such as rot in a fascia board, damaged sheathing or an obstruction that was not visible during the survey.
Where a hidden condition is discovered mid project, we will stop the affected work and present the options, along with any additional cost, for your decision. We will not perform additional billable work without your written or verbal approval.
We schedule work in the order that scopes are accepted and materials are ready, and we take weather into account because many roofline tasks call for dry and safe conditions. We will confirm a working window and notify you of changes as promptly as we can.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property, including to the eave line, downpipes, electrical supply if needed and any area a crew must cross to reach the work. If access is blocked, we may need to reschedule and a reasonable visit charge may apply.
You agree to secure pets, vehicles and personal property near the work area and to inform us of any hazard on the property, including fragile surfaces, concealed wiring or restricted zones. Safety for our crews and for occupants is a shared responsibility.
Payment terms are stated on the accepted scope. Unless the scope says otherwise, a deposit may be required to reserve materials and a schedule slot, with the balance due on completion. We accept the payment methods listed on the scope and will provide a receipt for each payment.
Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. Overdue balances may be subject to a late charge where the law permits, and you agree to reimburse reasonable costs of collection, including attorney fees, where allowed. Please contact us promptly if a question about an invoice arises so that we can resolve it quickly.
Prices are stated in United States dollars unless the scope says otherwise. Applicable taxes are added where required by law. Where the price of materials changes sharply between the quote and the start of work, we will discuss the effect with you before proceeding.
You are responsible for disclosing known conditions that may affect the work, including previous water intrusion, roof repairs, drainage problems, pest activity, hazardous materials or structural concerns. Accurate disclosure helps us plan safely and specify the right system.
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required from a landlord, homeowner association or co owner before work begins. You are also responsible for keeping the discharge point clear of obstructions after installation so that water can leave the property as designed.
Routine maintenance such as clearing debris from the discharge area and reporting new leaks or movement of the system is part of protecting your investment. Seasonal cleaning windows we schedule are designed to catch problems early, and we encourage you to raise concerns between visits.
We warrant our workmanship for the period stated on the accepted scope. If a defect in our installation appears within that period, we will inspect the issue and, where the defect is caused by our workmanship, repair it at no charge for labor.
The workmanship warranty does not cover damage from storm events, fallen limbs, ice or snow load beyond design, alterations by others, misuse of the system, failure to perform recommended maintenance, or normal wear of materials. Manufacturer warranties for materials such as gutter stock, guards and heat cable are provided by their makers and are subject to their terms.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at help@gutterbuzz.buzz or call +18788344446 with the property address and a description of the issue. We will arrange an inspection and confirm whether the warranty applies before work begins.
All content on the site, including text, layout, graphics, the gutter rail design elements and the compiled information about our services, is owned by GUTTERBUZZ, LLC or used with permission, and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
Our business name, brand marks and the distinctive presentation of this site are our property. You may not use them in a way that suggests affiliation with or endorsement by GUTTERBUZZ, LLC without our prior written consent.
Any plans, drawings, models or reports we prepare remain our property, though we grant you a right to use them for the property they were created for. You may not reuse our plans or reports on another property or share them with a competing contractor without our consent.
You agree not to misuse the site or the services. Misuse includes attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, introducing malicious code, interfering with the operation of the site, or using the site to send unlawful, harassing or deceptive communications.
You agree not to submit false information, to impersonate another person or to use the contact features for spam, chain messages or bulk solicitation. We may block access, refuse service or report activity to the appropriate authority where we find a serious or repeated violation.
You agree to comply with all laws that apply to your use of the site and to your property, including local rules about drainage, discharge and storm water management. Where a permit is required, you are responsible for obtaining it unless the scope says we will.
The site may reference or link to third party websites, products or tools. Such references are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We do not control third party content and are not responsible for its accuracy, availability or privacy practices.
Materials we install, such as gutter stock, guards and heat cable, may carry warranties from their manufacturers. Those warranties are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the terms of the manufacturer. We will provide available documentation on request.
If you believe that content on the site infringes a right you hold, please contact us at help@gutterbuzz.buzz with the details so that we can review the matter promptly and take appropriate action.
The site and its content are provided on an as available basis. While we work to keep information accurate and current, we make no promise that every page is free of error or that the site will always be uninterrupted. General information on the site does not replace a site specific survey.
Recommendations on the site are general in nature. The right system for a property depends on measurements, roof area, pitch, canopy and local conditions, and it can only be confirmed through a survey. You should not rely on general website content as the sole basis for a drainage decision.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms or in an accepted scope, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GUTTERBUZZ, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue or damage to property arising from use of the site or from services, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limit applies to all theories of liability, whether based in contract, warranty, negligence or another ground.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those places, the limits above apply to the greatest extent the law allows, and nothing in these terms removes a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GUTTERBUZZ, LLC, its owners, employees and agents from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs, including attorney fees, that arise from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your failure to disclose a condition that affects the work.
This indemnity also covers claims arising from information you provide that is inaccurate or misleading, and from your failure to obtain a consent or permit that was your responsibility under the accepted scope.
We will notify you of any claim that falls under this section and will cooperate reasonably in the defense, while reserving the right to participate with our own counsel where we consider it appropriate.
These terms apply for as long as you use the site or maintain an active service relationship with us. We may suspend or end access to the site, and we may decline further work, if you materially breach these terms or if continuing would create a safety or legal risk.
You may end a service arrangement by written notice. Amounts owed for work already performed and materials already ordered remain payable, and sections of these terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply after the relationship ends.
If a project is stopped before completion for a reason within your control, we will present a final statement covering work performed, work in progress and non returnable materials. We will remove our equipment and leave the site in a safe condition.
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, utility failure, labor disruption, material shortage, government action or any other event that makes performance impractical or unsafe.
When such an event occurs, we will notify you, adjust the schedule as needed and resume work as soon as conditions allow. If the event continues for an extended period, either party may end the affected scope without penalty, and amounts owed for work already completed remain payable.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a dispute arises, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve it through good faith discussion and, if needed, mediation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be brought in the courts located in the State of Utah, and each party consents to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts. A provision found unenforceable will be limited or removed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
These terms, together with any accepted scope, form the entire agreement between you and GUTTERBUZZ, LLC concerning the subject matter covered here, and they replace any earlier understanding on that subject.
We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, in the services we offer or in applicable law. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, post a more prominent notice.
Continued use of the site after a revision indicates that you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree with a revision, please stop using the site and contact us by telephone so that we can discuss any active project under the terms that applied when it began.
